  1. Placement of scanner pattern for placement of pulses (DeepFx)
    1. Right next to each other without space between (no overlap)
    2. Leave 1-3 mm between patterns (on sides, above and below)
    3. Treat in a random, hap-hazard way rather than compulsively & carefully placing of scanner patterns
  2. DeepFx, ActiveFx or Both
    1. Treat as much of the face as possible with DeepFx, then do ActiveFx over top to prevent striping (checkerboard)
    2. Only Treat lines and scars and saggy areas with DeepFx, do ActiveFx on rest of face
    3. When trying to tighten skin, do you do DeepFx over vector areas which pull up and do ActiveFx other areas

  3. Your usual ActiveFx setting when you are doing ActiveFx alone

  4. Bleeding and Oozing
    1. How much bleeding and oozing do you get when doing a strong treatment (17.5 mj?
    2. What do you do to keep laser field clear?
    3. Is the bleeding a problem?
    4. Do you worry about bleeding?
  5. Passes and Pulses
    1. Do you use more than 1 pass?  Why?
    2. Do you use double or triple pulse?  Why?
  6. How deep, How much
    1. How deep are you going with DeepFx when you use 17.5 mj?
    2. How deep are you going with ActiveFx when you use 125 mj?

    1. Would you like the ActiveFx to default to CoolScan?
    2. Would you like the ActiveFx to default to Density 1?
    3. Would you like the thumb screw to be wider when changing DeepFX and ActiveFx head?
  3. Downtime:  How many days for each with Deep and/or Active
    1. Clinical:  home, oozing, pain, not feeling well
    2. Home:  red and crusty, feels fine, does not want to be seen
    3. Work:  ok to go to work, still red or bronzed, can cover-up
    4. Social:  Black Tie Event
